SriLanka Won the toss elected to bat, Malinga dropped
Sri Lanka won the toss and chose to bat on what Angelo Mathews felt would be a decent batting surface. Azhar Ali said he would have batted first also, but expected some assistance for the seamers in the early overs.The hosts made three changes to their attack, the most significant of which was the omission of Lasith Malinga, who has not been effective in this series. Nuwan Pradeep was ruled out through injury and left-arm spinning allrounder Sachith Pathirana was also left out.
