Pakistan win 2nd T20 from Srilanka
Sri Lanka chose to bat on a track Lasith Malinga felt would be good for batting. Shahid Afridi said he would have liked to bat first as well, as Pakistan had successfully done at the same venue on Thursday.Angelo Mathews was ruled out of the match after hurting his wrist at training. Uncapped 23-year-old allrounder Dasun Shanaka plays in his stead. Another uncapped 23-year-old, Shehan Jayasuriya, replaced batsman Kithuruwan Vithanage.
As Sri Lanka had already fielded four debutants on Thursday, these changes mean that six players in the Sri Lanka XI have played two T20 internationals or fewer.
Pakistan went unchanged for this match. If they win, they not only sweep the three trophies on tour, they will also rise to third in the T20 rankings.
