WEST INDIES V AUSTRALIA 1st Test Match

Australia’s gruelling Test-filled winter kicks off tonight when Michael Clarke’s men take on the West Indies President’s XI at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua. The three-day tour match is the only warm-up game ahead of the two-Test Frank Worrell Trophy series, which starts in Dominica on June 3.

 Australia head into the match without a majority of their Indian Premier League stars, opting to rest Mitchell Johnson, Mitchell Starc, Steve Smith and David Warner, while allrounder Shane Watson is expected to join the squad tonight following the birth of his second child on Saturday in Sydney. In what could be a glimpse into Australia’s potential line-up for the first Test, spin twins Nathan Lyon and Fawad Ahmed will operate in tandem alongside fast bowlers Josh Hazlewood, Peter Siddle and allrounder Mitchell Marsh.
